she has a "BIG".......

Archies @ Forum has a 50% discount. So after coming out of the Dilli-6 movie me and my friend decided to take a look inside archies. Lots of bangalorian girls in Tshirts and Jeans shopping around...

I finally bought a very cute, huggable teddy bear for 125Rs at half the price.. And i was explaining to my friend the very large no. of teddy bears my daughter has, and expecially the two very BIG teddy bears she has.....

I was in the queue behind lot of good looking ladies for paying cash.. And I said to my friend.. "she has BIG............." and suddenly i stopped. I have this habit of stopping conversations in between and going to idle loop. May be i dont get the correct words, or i feel its not important to complete the sentences....

After few seconds my friend started laughing.. The girls in front of me had turned back and were looking at me... It seems they were looking sharply at me for my remarks : "she has a BIG....", and i was looking somewhere down, and resting peacefully in my idle loop.

Luckily for me, the girls in front of me didnt have anything BIG... :) so i escaped. They may have thought that i am commenting on someone else..

Anyway i escaped.. Better to improve my english and communication skills.. it will help me atleast not to get beatings .. or i shuld be in silent mode rather than partially completed dangerous sentences....

Dilli 6

Dilli 6 I saw despite the bad reviews, because Rang De Basanti was/is a very fascinating movie and I didnt want to miss the director's next one.

The movie is see-able; The concept and execution of the movie i felt really complicated; Expecially ending ; It should not have been made so serious and should have been more fun and romantic; I dont like film makers exploiting so much emotions...

SlumDog Millionaire..

Saw slumdog millionaire..... Instead of writing up a review, i thought i will link to a review done by a non-Indian http://thegoodflea.com/2009/01/slum-dog-millionaire-review.html.

The movie is a good masala film. It projects every bad things in India in a very well manner! Surely West will enjoy.

Also I liked the film. Its the first "outsourced" film ; well we indians are ready to give up IT and BPOs and take up films as career!!

Mutual Funds...

These funds account for 88% of my MF investments:

DSPBR Top 100 Equity Reg-G
Fidelity Equity-G
Fidelity Tax Advantage-D
HDFC Top 200-G
Magnum Taxgain-D
Reliance Growth-G

There are another set of funds which account for my 12% and which i want to clear it off once Market goes up and reaches 20K again... Hope that comes soon :)

Currently running at a 33% loss, but still investing systematically.. The money will certainly grow... But is this a correct/ethical way of investing ?

I invest my money for long-term. But does any value-addition happens because of my investments ?
