taking wikimapia and travelling through it... yesterday i travelled from islamabad to moscow..

what for 2007 ?

Reading a lot of investment magazines these days --

I have become a regular buyer of "Outlook Money", "Money Life", "Multual Fund Insight"...

I am investing more in magazines... and investing only a comparative amount in MFs :)

I hope i prepare less, and do more!

But i am a learner, not a investor..

But if you want to invest in MFs consult me.., my investing decisions may be poor, but i can give you the info that i read...

Naming!

I always like "naming" people... but sometimes the joke becomes serious and then i stop that...

today i named Raju as "Khadol Khajan" - bheema's son

That became a hit. so perhaps i should name others using characters from ramayana and mahabharatha.

In NeST me and aneeja had named many --- using Malayalam cartton characters

Tax Savings - 2007/2008

Better to save tax savings 2007/2008 now itself...

Invest 'X' amount each month systematically to any or some of these tax saving funds --
1. SBI Magnum taxgain
2. HDFC Long term advantage fund

I like "Fidelity Tax Advantage Fund" personally , but i dont have seen any sites suggesting that fund. Probably because its a relatively new fund.

By investing systematically, you will not have to look for money to invest at the end of financial year, also it will manage the volatility of market by averaging out!

Ethical investing

One of my friend was asking for any fund which invests ethically - no tobocco, no liquor, no banking!

Does this suits him - ?

Pachakilli Muthucharam

Saw Pachakilli Muthucharam... (and thereby finally saw a Sharath kumar film at theatre..)

We were confused on whether to buy tickets online.., because each had different choice..
Preferences were:_
Binoj - Ghost Rider
Shammer - The Departed
Balaji - anything except Ghost Rider
Deepesh - Nishabdh
and Me - Pachakilli Muthucharam or Mozi

I had an inclination for Pachakilli Muthucharam as i heard that its story had connections with extra marital affairs.. which suits my age!

We arrived at sathyam, but only tickets for Pachakilli Muthucharam and ghost Rider were available, so we took tickets for Pachakilli...

The film started well... The song... "Un shirippine... " is a very good one... so start good!

Then problems coming.. Sharath's child getting diabetics.. wife goes on depression.. Sharath feeling lonely despite giving best for his family etc etc...

Then jyothika comes... I liked the way movie progresses at this time.. ( although majority did not like this part)

finally when i was hoping th extra-marital to blossom.. Villain comes... and then twists and turns..

The second half is more fast.. and more actions..

Actors are good, Songs are good, but script and direction lacks the momentum.

This film can be certainly seen if you are in a multiplex and no other tickets are available!

Wikimapia - Lets decribe the whole world

I wanted to visit SIB, GT Road, and none of my Chennai friends didnt know where it was. Tilak told me to visit Wikimapia.., and from the world view I went to chennai, searched for GT Road, then the complex etc and i found the road, connection roads etc. Tilak was surprised i have never visited this site before.

Its simply great! We can describe the locations and add more informations like Wikipedia.org. But is being misused.., people are adding "Mohans house etc etc". Only information useful for public should be there.

Anyway the Aishwarya complex next to our Shreays apartment is also marked in the site.

If you look carefully you can see me walking towards the beach!

No Hyper, only tension

Finally checked my blood pressure - Its normal 120/80 even in my high adrenaline state..
